Help Activate the Broadway Theater

A 6-Month Community Commitment

For decades, the Broadway Theater has stood quietly on East Broadway—a landmark filled with echoes of performances, gatherings, and shared stories. Like many historic spaces, its future has been uncertain.

Today, we’re inviting you into a bold but time-limited experiment:

A 6-Month Activation Period

From Feb. 2026 to July 2026 we are activating the Broadway Theater as a living, breathing community arts space—welcoming performances, rehearsals, workshops, rentals, and neighborhood gatherings—to test what this space can become and whether it can sustainably serve our community long-term.

This is a collective “what if.”

Your support helps us:

  • Keep the lights on and doors open

  • Test programming and rental demand

  • Preserve the building with care

  • Prove the value of accessible arts on Broadway

At the end of six months, we evaluate—together—what comes next.

Why This Matters

Historic theaters don’t disappear all at once. They fade quietly.

This activation is about interrupting that silence—giving the Broadway Theater a chance to be seen, used, and valued again before decisions are made about its future. Your contribution isn’t just financial. It’s a vote that this space deserves a chance.
